To know a thing, we must first develop a relationship with it.

The Mineral Body
Make Study Simple With These 3 Tricks
SO!
You’ve just had a consultation and had the biochemic minerals made known to you.
You had heard of sodium, but mainly as an enemy! You knew about iron, but the supplements you had tried seemed lack-lustre. Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium all ring bells, but the biochemic forms of each where never mentioned in school biology. 12 new variations with seemingly infinite applications!
It can seem a lot to swallow at once, I know.
Thankfully, there are ways to make this more doable.
And Remember!
One who continues to learn is forever young.
step 1.
Making the study practical.
Start with the basics – get familiar with the minerals.
Label them directly, and know them better every day through simple repetition. I have supplied below my best attempt at boiling down the essence of what a mineral can be practically used for, as well as the biochemic tells of deficiency – both visible and symptomatic.
Print these out! Click the images below and download them, they are styled as I myself have used!
Designed for a standard printer and A4 paper, and sized to fit the box of large biochemic minerals 1 through 12. Attach them directly to the boxes to bring instant light to their functions!
step 2.
Patience.
Don’t expect yourself to remember everything at once! Heck, when i started this journey, every few words in i would have to stop to re-clarify a definition! So then i started taking notes, making myself little cheat-sheets.. That helped a lot.
But patience! And being reasonable with what i expected of myself helped even more.
Learn what that word means today, then sleep on it. Tomorrow when you re-read what once was jibberish, now offers you deeper levels of understanding.
I challenge you. Try this little method, learn small reasonable chunks – and be satisfied with even small progress in a day. Repeat this for atleast one week, and you won’t believe how far you’ve come – trust me!
What I can read and understand today was illegible to me a year ago, and I cannot wait to discover what I’ll be able to assimilate this time next year!
step 3.
You are a biochemist, now act like it!
Having gotten this far, surely you’ve seen what Biochemic mineral #5 (Potassium phosphate) can do !
Just in case you haven’t, a quick reminder – It is essential for the formation of the grey matter of the brain.
SO! If you plan on engaging your brain and studying hard to learn new skills, you are going to be forming new neural pathways. Biologically speaking, this is actually a very expensive process!
Have you ever been struggling with a concept, maybe in high-school in a subject you had trouble with?
That feeling of tension and discomfort in your head – like it was literally painful to try and grasp that concept!
Well, that discomfort is a system struggling to pull together the minerals required to build new neural structures inside of the brain. To connect more and more circuits together, allowing the cementation of understanding. This is the biology of understanding in action!
When we are deficient, this process is actually both uncomfortable and impaired.(Very important to remember for children and adolescents who are in growth phases and using those minerals up just to grow!)
Higher learning is not actually vital to your survival, from your biology’s point of view. And if your diet is not the best, learning can actually be quite difficult. Biology will always put survival as #1, and a deficient system has trouble with expending minerals for reasons other than basic growth and repairs (Like learning piano, or advanced mathematics!)
We can absolutely make this process easier on our biology!
Before study, work, exams or a stressful presentation
– Take 3-5 (depending on stress/intensity level) Potassium phosphate – #5’s.
To give the body the material to create new neural pathways easily, and increase resilience to stress and anxiety.
– After a big bout of study I make sure to dose again.
To help make sure I have plenty of mineral power to write all of that information to memory!
*Check #8 and #7 are not deficient. (Either, if deficient will inhibit uptake ability of other minerals.)
* Adding #2 and #7 to nightly routine (half hour before bed, 3 of each) will increase energy levels and vitality upon waking next morning. Add this to your study routine to prevent against burnt out and chronic fatigue! This is how study becomes not just possible but effortless. (Additional bonus of these two minerals – is our repair and regeneration ability is hugely increased, meaning every night you will get more benefits while you sleep!)
There you have it!
My top tips for getting started with the minerals. I hope you find these print outs as helpful as i have.
Let me know in the comments what you think!
An Argument for Conscious Consumption!
The act of affirming to yourself WHY you are taking something, while you take it.. This I believe is more powerful than we give credit for.
A fun experiment. When you go to take your minerals, for this example #5’s and study.
Have the conscious thought – ‘ I am taking this to make things easier, I will cement these learnings to memory (briefly let your mind recall what you have studied), and i will re-call them to mind without effort tomorrow’
Why? Because you are a biochemist. You KNOW your cells are individuals, all capable of selecting the nutrients they need to survive from the blood, excreting waste and reproducing themselves, as individuals.
When they lack fluids, it is seen when your personality becomes ‘drier’ just as much as through your dry skin. Your cells are part of you and you are the conscious captain of your vessel, containing millions of individuals!
Now, act like it!
Only you can sooth the cells under your care, they dictate how you feel and act, and you have control over your mind and emotions.
The science is very clear on the effects mind and emotion has on the biology, so why not play with the idea of engaging with that for good ! The great majority are a reflection of negative self talk or no self talk.. I think we could agree at least that the standard is not working.
And you’ll never know if you don’t try it!
And because - surely someone will be thinking it
there are zodiacal symbols - why?
Well, because they where wonderful teaching aids for me myself. It might be how my mind functions personally, but I am very at home with the realm of boiling large and complex functions into more simplified, almost caracature like re-tellings. Metaphorical likenesses that bring alien concepts into view through known examples in the real world, making them graspable.
An archetype can fit a lot more information inside of it than can a simple word. This was known to most every ancient culture that has come before us, the power of symbols and metaphor.
And I have found them to be applicable. One day I will do a dedicated post on the validity of metaphor and symbols as forms of deep learning aids, but for now I give two simple examples.
Aries.
Aries associated with the head – #5 is an extremely mental mineral. Nerve function and quick clear thinking are reliant on sufficient #5. You need it to keep your head and deal with stress.
Aries associated with fire – What do you do when a fever is running too hot? standard fever treatment is #3, but when the temperature rises above 39c, we need #5 to defend against the effects of the heat! So when the heat is highest we need #5.
First sign of the zodiac – And first mineral required for tissue formation in a developing embryo.
17 days after sperm has fertilized an egg, formation of the neural plate begins. The Nerve nutrient, Potassium phosphate is required here. Linked to the first sign is the first mineral to begin manifesting the distinct forms of a human feotus. This neural plate is the very first visible form a budding human will take, preceding development of all other tissues. The neural tissue, and #5 are first.
Two horns has the ram, and its symbol and the budding neural plate (that will one day be a functioning brain and entire central nervous system) soon changes form again! Days 22-23 we can see the distinct formation of the two horns, the neural folds (See image below, sign included for visual.)
These two horns will eventuate as the two separate hemispheres of the adult brain!

For learning more advanced processes, mental visuals like those above can be very helpful for memory.
Taurus
Second sign of the zodiac – And second to forming tissues, we must think about the metabolism of those tissues. To live is to consume, and to consume is to excrete. This is as true for us as it is for cells! Excretion is Sodium sulphates (#10) main role.
And to excrete something from the body we tend to use fluids, but to give those fluids the power to carry toxins and waste materials away, we need #10 Sodium sulphate.
Two horns has the bull, and its symbol – and for every one molecule of Sodium phosphate we have allows the body to pull two molecules of toxin laden fluids for detoxification! The symbol makes remembering this function very easy. One #10 has the power to pull twice its weight in waste/fluids.
The bull is slow and plodding – A system that is #10 deficient gathers fluids in the extremities. Without the power of #10 to pull fluids from tissues, both fluid and toxins continue to accumulate. The result is chronic oedema formation, that if allowed to continue will lead to individuals having a slow, inhibited and plodding gait.
Bullish temperament – A deficiency in #10 will lead to depressed, irritable and indifferent people. Patients are easily exhausted, suffer from daytime fatigue and are often bad tempered.
Melancholy is a symptom of #10 deficiency, and melancholy is an old word for black bile. Biles are produced in the liver, and #10 has great affinity for the liver. This processor of toxins and cleanser of blood is reliant on #10 to remain healthy and functional, and to keep bile in order, preventing individuals becoming ‘bilious in nature’ or ‘bullish in temperment.’
